Temperature Outside and Wall Panel Heaters – Different Temperatures Make A Difference
The Temperature Outside Effects Results For Wall Panel Heaters
The temperature outside effects how well Wall Panel Heaters work. My goal is 68-70 degrees for room temperature. I also want my Wall Panel Heaters to be my primary heat source. Also if I’m not using a room I don’t heat it much. I have had some success with Wall Panel Heaters as primary heat source. But the temperature outside greatly effects this. In terms of cold temperatures, I have the best results when the outside temperature is high 20s to high 30s. I recently experienced 2 weeks of frigid near 0 temperatures at night and while not the optimal 68-70 degrees I like, using wall panels heaters with another small wall heater definitely helped keep the room temp a few degrees shy of my goal.
A great portable Wall Panel Heater also helped these for 2 weeks as I could move this heater to rooms where I needed help to heat. No matter what…the Wall Panel Heaters and the little wall heater definitely helped…
While Wall Panel Heaters are great sometimes you just need to get a room warmed up quickly. That’s where this little Plug In Wall Heater can help. It works great for cold bathrooms but works well in other rooms too especially ones with closed doors. So below are the tests for this Plug In Wall Heater. It can work well with a Wall Panel Heaters or by itself to turn the thermostat down and have the furnace on less often. And please note my testing was done when very cold outside at night…single digits and teens…very cold! And it was cold like this for almost 2 weeks! I can honestly say if I didn’t have this little heater to help I would have put the furnace on.
Plug In Wall Heater That Has Power!
Mini Small Portable Insta Heater Ceramic Plug In Wall Heater Works
Do you have a cold bathroom or other cold room? Well this is a Plug In Wall Heater for cold bathroom issues. And great for any room that is a little cold. The Insta Heater is a very small portable plug in space heater. When I took it out of the box I simply plugged it into my cold bathroom’s outlet and this little 600 watt heater went to work and I quickly started to feel warm in my cold bathroom. It’s certainly great for a small room like a bathroom. It works well in other rooms especially if you are near where it is plugged in. So I was quite impressed with this little Plug In Wall Heater. However I was also not impressed that the remote did not come with batteries. I had to order some. Once I added the batteries and tried using the remote I found out the remote doesn’t seem to ever shut the heater off. To make matters worse the box did not include a manual or instructions. So that made using the remote very difficult. But then thinking more…why does one need a remote? All one has to do is plug it in a wall and there’s heat. That is the purpose of this little heater and as long as that works (and it does) you really don’t need a remote.
Performance in Other Rooms
I have tried it in a large 20×14 ft room that was 62 degrees (it was near 0 outside at night for a week and a half!) and had 1 wall panel heater on at the time. I wanted to see if adding this little heater would make any difference and guess what?…it did. By adding the Insta Heater the large room’s temperature went up 4 degrees after 45 minutes. But I did feel warmer after about 15 minutes of adding it. The wall panel heater was 5 feet from my recliner and on the opposite site the Insta Heater was 6 feet from me. The next room I tested the heater in was a cold (58 degrees) 12×10 room with closed door. No other heat was on. I left it in there for 20 minutes and when I went back the thermometer was up by a few degrees and definitely felt warmer. Leaving the heater on longer made it even warmer the next time I checked. In general the closer you are to the heater the more warmth. So it can definitely help. However, if you are expecting a quick 90 degree room from cold then look elsewhere!
So this little heater has some pros and these include:
- its small size
- being energy-efficient
- being portable and powerful (600 watt)
- its high & low speeds
- having auto-shut off and cool case for safety
- no installation…you simply plug it in
I bought my Insta Heater Plug In Wall Heater on Amazon and below is the link to find out more and read the mixed reviews too. The reviews are mixed due to the remote issues and also not being able to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit but all you need to do is google “convert celsius to fahrenheit” and go by that. All in all a great heater that does its job so I highly recommend!:
Mini Small Portable Insta Heater Ceramic Space Heater
A Great Heater for Cold Bathrooms Plus Other Rooms
A Portable Wall Panel Heater With More Options
Freestanding, Paintable Slimline, Energy-Efficient Wall Panel Heater
I truly love the Amaze-Heater and EconoHeater but wanted a portable Wall Panel Heater and the 400 Watt VonHaus Wall Panel Heater is a Portable Wall Panel Heater. You have the option of installing it on the wall or just use the legs that come in the package for making it a portable Wall Panel Heater. So when I opened the package I quickly found the legs to make it a portable Wall Panel Heater as that was my goal. The first issue I ran into was removing the sticker from the heater. It did not come off easily. But eventually I got it off. I next added the legs but these were not easy to screw in and adjust so the heater would not fall but got it to work. I read the manual and saw there’s a smell for initial use. So I put it in a spare room and closed the door. The smell did go a way. The smell was quite different from Amaze-Heater and EconoHeater. Those smelled like plastic or paint burning. I also read in the manual that a ventilated room is a good idea for first use.
As the smell was gone it was time to move the heater to my large living room where I have a 400 watt and 600-watt Amaze-Heater that heat the room fine on days above 32 degrees. I use Wall Panel Heaters as primary heat source. My furnace is secondary heat source. So I wanted a portable Wall Panel Heater so I could position it in some problem areas on real cold days…and find this VonHaus 400 Watt Wall Panel Heater certainly does the job of heating a room. In a room with a door closed it can work alone to heat the room up nicely. Like other Wall Panel Heaters…they are very energy-efficient and you can paint them. I love that the 400 Watt VonHaus Wall Panel Heater offers portability. And the legs mean easy installation too…you just put the legs on! The next closest thing for easy installation is the Amaze-Heater with the no drill option but it is not portable. So I highly recommend the VonHaus 400 Watt Wall Panel Heater. I love it! So for more info and to read the Amazon reviews…just click below. Please note that there is a version on Amazon below that is 450 watt but it is not portable and must be installed on the wall. But it has great Amazon reviews too:
